Evaluation (Part 2)

How did you use media techniques in your construction + research, planning + evaluation stages?

The use of the camera and tripod worked very proficiently as we had alot of movement included in our video. We were able to use the tripod so we could achieve a pan shot, and as they were small we could fit the camera into awkward places inorder to shoot some of the shots around the trees. When we shot the close-ups were able to adjust the height of the tripod so that the camera was level with our faces, and therefore we didn't strain ourselves by having to kneel down to fit the cameras height.
We used photoshop for our advertisement and the design of our digi-pack as it allows the convergence of two different promotional packages to be designed. We related all three products (Advertisement, Music Video, and Digi-Pack) to each other in-order to also form convergence  between the products as a good marketing strategy.
We used premier software to edit our music video, and although it took us a while to get used to, we eventually figured out how to use it and managed to finish editing our video. The software was reliable in saving our work
and we was able to download our video to you tube once finished in-order to gather some comments and audience feedback.
I decided to use a blog as my way to record each stage of the process, e.g. planning and evaluation. This has worked out efficiently, although there are some limitations when it comes to the design and layout, as the blog as a website automatically changes the layout when each post is published, this became quite irritating as I was unable to do anything about But overall I found the ability to upload images and videos to my blog particularly simple and this is what I liked most about it.
Once we had finished our video we decided to upload the video to youtube in-order to achieve audience feedback. his helped us communicate with the public to gain constructive criticism, which we would think about more closely if we was to do it again.
